Gold for the online edition, silver for the printed version. DEUTZ AG's 2010 annual report ('One step ahead') has again taken top honours at the LACP Vision Awards. The awards are the most prestigious competition for annual reports worldwide and are handed out in the platinum, gold, silver and bronze categories.
The League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) evaluated around 5,000 entries in 2010. The annual reports are evaluated using various criteria: first impression, report cover, letter to shareholders, report narrative, report financials, creativity, message clarity and information accessibility.
Scoring 97 out of a possible 100 points to take a gold award, DEUTZ delivered an almost perfect digital annual report for 2010. Last year, the online version of the DEUTZ annual report achieved silver against tough competition in the 'automobiles and components' category.
The print edition of the 2010 DEUTZ annual report received a silver award, obtaining 96 out of 100 points. It achieved maximum points for its report narrative, letter to shareholders, report financials and information accessibility.
"We are delighted to have won these awards and see them as motivation to continue supplying our shareholders and business partners with transparent, useful information", said Dr Margarete Haase, Board of Management member responsible for Finance, Human Resources and Investor Relations.
